JoyPixels 10.0 Preview

JoyPixels 10.0 is coming this summer with fresh Emoji 16.0 designs, exciting updates to our signature collection, and optimized file sizes for improved performance.

The JoyPixels emoji development team is already hard at work on JoyPixels 10.0! Set to launch in Summer 2025, this update will bring all-new Emoji 16.0 additions alongside a major refresh of our signature collection. From enhanced details and richer colors to improved depth and clarity, JoyPixels 10.0 is shaping up to be one of our most exciting updates yet—all while optimizing file sizes for better performance.

Just a heads-up—these previews are still a work in progress, so the final designs might look a little different when we officially launch.

Emoji 16.0 Compatible

JoyPixels 10.0 will be fully Emoji 16.0 compliant, ensuring seamless compatibility with the latest emoji standards. Approved in September 2024, Emoji 16.0 introduces eight new additions to the emoji family, including:

  • Face with Bags Under Eyes
  • Harp
  • Shovel
  • Fingerprint
  • Splatter
  • Root Vegetable
  • Leafless Tree
  • Flag: Sark

Category Update: People

Exciting updates are coming to the People category in JoyPixels 10.0! The Man, Woman, and Person emoji are getting a refined new look, with more expressive eyes, well-defined noses and ears, and upgraded hair that adds extra character. But that’s not all—full-body, activity, and occupation emoji will also see subtle body shape adjustments and soft shading for a greater sense of depth. In addition to the People updates, some clothing and character emoji within the category - like the Fairy, Troll, Genie, and Jack-o-Lantern - have been refreshed with richer details and a more dynamic appearance.

Category Update: Objects

The Objects category in JoyPixels 10.0 will receive a vibrant refresh, with updates to icons like the Shopping Cart, Bow and Arrow, Crystal Ball, and Framed Picture. The focus remains on enhancing depth, dimension, and rich colors, creating a more dynamic and polished look. Impressively, we’ve are achieving these improvements while also reducing file sizes, a key goal of this update.

Nineteen emoji are being updated in the Object category.

Category Update: Travel

The Travel category in JoyPixels 10.0 is receiving a few select updates, with a focus on adding more vibrancy and detail. The Umbrella on Ground now has richer shading for a sun-soaked look, the Stadium features enhanced structure and depth, and the Police Car Light has been refined for a sleeker, more polished appearance. While the changes are subtle, they bring an extra touch of realism and clarity to these travel-themed icons.

Five emoji are being updated in the Travel category.

Category Update: Symbols

The Symbols category in JoyPixels 10.0 will see a major refresh, particularly with the 'action' hearts (Revolving Hearts and Two Hearts), which will feature a more dynamic and dimensional 3D look. Additionally, Heart with Arrow and Heart with Ribbon have received a fresh new look, bringing even more detail and depth to these classic symbols.
